As I've followed the light it has led me to explore many ideas--the latest being the stars. After I finished writing A Star for You I thought that was the end of my star travels, but the light has stayed in the stars and so guess I will too, for the time being.
I paint as I process so in between never-ending internet searches, text books, and my latest obsession, my Interlinear Bible, I paint the stars.
Usually I wait until I have the whole collection all tied up in final form to present it here, but this time feels different. I might be here for a while too, so rather than disappear into space (get it?) I thought I'd invite you into the musings, the gloriously-unfinished realm of research, pondering, and paint.
If stars are not your thing (yet) but you are into holy imagination and deep ponderings, you are in the right place. Keep on scrolling down to see some of my other collections on The Fullness of Time, Holy Hands and more. Glad you're here.
This feature collection explores the concept of 'the fullness of time.' Such. a. big. concept. No wonder it took me almost a year to create this collection! Since the creation process was so rich and...ahem, full, I also created a fine-art book as a companion to the 10 paintings that make up the collection.
I'm so excited to share The Fullness of Time Collection AND book with you. You can explore more about the collection, the individual paintings and the book through the links below.
following the light
But wait, there's more.
You could say that's my motivation--the belief that there is more than meets the eye, more then we see on the surface. What's underneath? What came before or is coming after? What is the deeper meaning hidden right here in the ordinary?
I follow the light through life, painting and writing as I go in the hopes that I won't miss any of the treasure that is all around.
Welcome. Enjoy the process.
